Margaret Ngigi was born, raised and lives in Kenya. Margaret Ngigi, a creative filmmaker and photographer with a keen eye for details, is a talented photographer. She is passionate about creating visually compelling narrative content that has impact. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production and Directing from the United States International University of Africa.
Margaret has been a photographer since 2015. She has won awards like the 2022 East African Photography Awards, and has been nominated for the 2020 Photo London Emerging Photographer Of The Year. She has shown her work internationally at art fairs including Photo Basel, Photo London and Murky Waters in London. She has also had solo exhibitions such as Mimi Ni Nani and Murky Waters? Working with galleries like AKKA Project, Doylewham and others.
